PRINTALL

PRINTALL reads any format dataset and prints, with optional hexadecimal dump, all or just records selected based upon PARM or scan arguments.

It is located in File #860 of the CBT tape and is part of the large suite of programs written by Gerhard Postpischil.

Installation

I have extracted the JCL to assemble PRINTALL and the required subprogram, as well as the macros required (from File #861) to create a single installation jobstream that also places a jobstream to execute the program.  The resulting jobstream - install.printall.jcl - is contained in the archive printall.tar.gz [MD5: e38488f655ee651ca388131835fb5252].  Download the archive and extract the jobstream (WinZip on Windows/?? or tar on Linux).  Submit the jobstream to assemble and link the single load module for PRINTALL.  The installation jobstream is set to use SYSC.LINKLIB as the target for the load module and SYSC.JCLLIB for the sample jobstream to execute SHOWDSCB; if you are installing on a system that does not have SYSCPK installed, you will need to change these two targets.  If you have the lastest version of SYSCPK installed, PRINTALL is already installed.

The output of the supplied PRINTALL execution jobstream may be seen at:  printall.pdf.

I hope that you have found my instructions useful.  If you have questions that I can answer to help expand upon my explanations and examples shown here, please don't hesitate to send them to me:
